Beautiful Budapest

Andreas and I recently escaped to Budapest (May 24-26th). We stayed at the beautiful 5 star Royal Corinthia Hotel and Spa. The hotel was goregeous and we also enjoyed a sap day. Budapest is well know for its water, spas and bath houses.

Budapest has so much history and beautiful architecture. It is easy to fall in love with this beautiful city. I just loved the Széchenyi Chain Bridge that crosses the beautiful river Danube and divides the city into sections. Budapest became a single city occupying both banks of the river Danube with the unification on 17 November 1873, of right-bank (west) Buda and Óbuda (Old Buda) together with Pest on the left (east) bank.

My fav section was Buda and the beautiful castle. Our hotel was located in Pest and it is also beautiful and contains famous buildings such as the Hungarian Parliment and Heroe's square.

We also went to the Casino one night in Pest - and I won about $250.00 cdn playing black jack. It was a wonderful trip.

The Bridge I loved - reminds me of Paris.
