The past week, the weather has been just like summer over here so the other night I invited our friends Sue and Tom over for some Chicken Brochettes on the bbq. It has been a long winter, so we were all in great spirits with the warmer weather. It was a really nice evening.During our cocktails they received a phone call from their real-estate agent about two homes, fitting their criteria, that were available . We were quite excited! So I spoke to Sue last night and I am happy to say that they finally found a place after a stressful, long search! And one with a bath tub and balcony! They will be moving next week and another great thing is that their new home is also in Hellerup...not too far from us!
The Chicken Brochettes. Great grilling job by Andreas
A Little Poll: Can you imagine that there are barely any homes with bath tubs in this country? I find it quite strange. I would love a bath tub but my place doesn't have one either, but the view makes up for that! Sue and I are curious to find out from my readers how important bath tubs are for you, so I am taking a little poll. Please do drop me a comment and let me know if you need your bath tub or couldn't even live without one!
Have a great week everyone!

Lisa, when you said your friends had found a home with a bath tub & balcony I thot you meant a hot tub lol. I did not know that people in Denmark did not have bath tubs?
I for one could not imagine life without a BT. I adore baths, bubble ones especially, in nice hot water, so how important are bath tubs for me? well on a scale of 1 to 10, I would have to say 12 lol, very portant indeed! Looks like you guys had a delicious BBQ. Andreas's chicken brochettes looked better than Casa Greque mmm yay for nice weather & friends & BBQ's. oh............ and bath tubs too :).
Hi Auntie Pauline, OH thats just great! LOL..Loved your comment. Thanks for leaving a commetn. Well you are just like my friend Sue. She loves her baths and they are so important for her. She was so happy to find something with a bath tub. As for me on the scale of 1 to 10 I would say baths are about a 7 for me. I am getting used to not having one, but on those long winter nights or when you have worked hard or your muscles are sore there is nothing like soaking in a relaxing bath tub!
I'm with Auntie Pauline, I thought it was a tub on the balcony, and it sounded quite fun, lol. I didn't think homes existed without bathtubs, so that would have to be a priority for me. I soak in the tub at least once a week. And in the summer, when it's hotter than Hades in my place, I fill the tub up with cold water, and just keep jumping in and out (ah, Verdun living, lol). Take care and enjoy your visitors.
I have to say that I don't really use my bathtub. I HATE cleaning it and therefore don't use it. When I lived with Sean we had a cleaning lady so i used it every night. LOL.
So if I had someone to clean my tub for me then it's a 10 for me but right now, having to clean it myself, I would say 5. I haven't used mine since I've moved in..
I would definately not be able to live without my shower. In the old days they would have bird baths. LOL. Water in a bucket and a washcloth.
Hi Chris and Tara. Thanks for answerign to my poll. Ah yes those hot humid days and nights in Montreal can drive you crazy. The good ol tub is handy for that like your own little swimming pool.
Tara, oh lolol..i have to agree with you, I hate cleanign the tub. That is why I did not use it too much either. Try just taking a bath with water only just to relax..and then you dont have the soap film to clean off...The best is those tubs with the shower inside and you have the long nozzle you can take off to spray. I had that in Basel and it was great. Have a great TGIF girls!
